LT's National Honors Society members qualify for President's Volunteer

Twenty-five members of Lyons Township High School's chapter of National Honors Society have demonstrated a sustained commitment to volunteer service and qualified for the Presidential Service Award. Established in 2003, the award was created to give recognition to those who meet requirements for volunteer service, measured by the number of service hours performed over 12 months. In total, the NHS Class of 2022 students of 377 students have completed 9,342 service hours, offering their time and talents to the school and community members. Twenty-five LT seniors were recognized for their service and received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award.
