Click here to learn more. Here are the top three stories in Atlanta today: The Atlanta Police Department has arrested a man after he left a child in a hot vehicle. The child was rescued from the vehicle in the 2200 block of Gary Court NW and was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. Moric Palmer, 51, has been charged with second-degree Cruelty to Children. (CBS 46 News)The City of Atlanta is proposing the use of $9.1 million to relocate Forest Cove residents. The relocation money would be from federal American Rescue Plan funds. The apartment complex was condemned last year and the Cleveland-based owners are appealing the order currently. (WABE 90.1 FM)Mayor Andre Dickens has unveiled the city's 2023 budget. The budget will now be considered by the Atlanta City Council. The budget will not sell off any of the city's assets and is balanced in its implementation.
