Probationers Wanted for Dragon Boat Team

Yes, you read the title correctly. I want to enter a gutsy team of probationers in the 2022 Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival on Sunday, August 7. I'm looking for 17 - 20 people on probation, any gender, any fitness level, any race to compete with me, your coach, in the festival. This is a three-part effort. First, the entire team must register and do some fundraising. There is a nominal registration fee for each competitor. Second, there will be one practice in advance of August 7 that team members must attend (date and time to be determined). Third, to meet up for a day of FUN COMMUNITY COMPETITION on August 7. Fourth, each team member must make at least three contributions to a team journal. You will be expected to work together as a team to help me organize. Our crew will come up with a team name, team theme, and setting up and decorating our team "campsite" on August 7. All team members who successfully complete the event will receive a positive letter sent to their probation officer. Successful completion means you fulfill the four key commitments above.
