The Market Central Kitchen is hiring for a Full Time maintenance/sanitation worker. Maintenance & Sanitation Workers conduct preventative maintenance and clean equipment to required standards while maintaining the physical building internally and externally as well as its grounds. DUTIES We are looking for a friendly team player to join our Catering Kitchen Crew! Market of Choice employees create a pleasant in-store atmosphere and provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service. As Maintenance and Sanitation Technician, you will report to the Catering Manager and some of your responsibilities will include: Maintain clean floors and equipment Read and understand equipment manuals and schematics Properly dismantle, clean, sanitize and reassemble machines and equipment to ensure that equipment is in compliance and ready for production Conduct light maintenance on company vehicles Follow proper chemical labeling, handling and mixing procedures Perform light mechanical, plumbing and other building repairs as directed Assist with moving heavy items Refill empty soal and towel holders, clean windows, ensure daily cleaning assignments are completed Maintain positive relations with customers, vendors and employees Maintain Health and Safety sanitation requirements Maintain supply and equipment inventory QUALIFICATIONS Applicants should be available any shift including weekends.
