We need your help to inform customers of these free resources. *What You’ll Have the Opportunity to Do as an Outreach Specialist* You will have the opportunity to reach out to residents within communities and cities surrounding your home, to help them participate in these No-Cost programs that would cost the residents hundreds, and in some cases thousands of dollars if they had to pay for them on their own. You’ll have the opportunity to impact the lives of those you assist with these utility programs by helping them see the value of the increased savings and comfort. This position is very interactive with many customers during the course of the day. You will have the opportunity to find customers through canvassing neighborhoods, asking for referrals, lining up community presentations and coming up with other ideas to reach as many people as possible. You can follow this link to show you an example of one of many free utility programs that is currently being offered: Here are some of your responsibilities as an Outreach Specialist *Generate sales report each week and submitting them to management *Attend bi-weekly trainings held for the Outside Sales Representative team members *Canvass (knocking door to door) neighborhoods to educate customers on the available offerings, distribute program *literature and schedule a technician a minimum of 5 appointments daily *Become certified and badged for the Energy Savings Assistance Programs *Become an expert at presenting all the available utility programs in your assigned area *Keep in regular communication with the office, assigned technician and manager *Update client information in company data base. *Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth Here’s What Makes You a Great Fit *Great with people *Ability to work well with others *Basic computer and iPad skills *Excellent interpersonal communication skills *Self-motivated and comfortable working on your own *A passion for serving your customers *A “can do” attitude *Fluency in multiple languages is a plus What You’ll Gain from Joining Synergy *Compensation - Hourly Pay and Comission options available *Potential for bonuses *Fuel card *Health Insurance – coverage is provided for Synergy’s full-time team members and family members can be added at the employee’s expense *Paid Vacation is provided for full-time employees after 1 year of employment with Synergy *401k Plan with a Generous Match – To help you prepare for the future, after being employed for a year with Synergy, you will receive an extra $0.50 on each dollar (up to 6% of your paycheck) you invest in your 401k plan.
