Overview:
Join our team at Concord Real Estate Services, a leader in Property Management, currently managing over 5,500+ Apartment Units and 1MM Commercial Sq Ft throughout Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for executing maintenance requests by diagnosing problems and making repairs and ensuring that service requests and repairs are made in a timely manner.
Qualified candidates must have the following basic experience; ideal candidates specialize in one or more:
· Basic appliance repair.
· HVAC.
· Basic plumbing.
· Basic electrical.
· Sheetrock.
· General carpentry.
· Pest control (if required by community).
· Roofs and gutters.
· Wallpaper/Painting including the use of a paint sprayer.
· Foundation/sidewalk.
· Experienced in the use of basic cleaning supplies and equipment.
· Patches and paints apartments.
· Cleans or removes carpet as determined by the Supervisor.
· Strips and waxes floors.
· Completes apartment turnover checklist.
· Adheres to turnover schedule and communicates to Supervisor any problems associated with the turnover schedule.
· Ability to lift 60 pounds
· The ability to perform physical activities associated with maintenance work such as working in narrow cramped places and working on knees is required.
· Reports to work on time, provides advance notice for time off, and completes timecard accurately.
Key Qualifications Include:
· 2-3 years apartment maintenance or related field.
· Strong knowledge and understanding of basic facilities repair and hand tools.
· Self-starter with a history of success working in an environment with little supervision.
· Adaptable with the ability to change priorities/ working conditions on short notice.
· Excellent time management skills.
· Strong working knowledge of basic computer skills, cell phone/smartphone.
