Warehouse Order Picker/Packer:
Description
Order Pickers and Packers have an in-depth understanding of a warehouse’s layout so they can easily navigate to the correct aisle and find the type of inventory they need. The Order Picker/Packer performs basic quality assurance by inspecting goods for possible damage before packing them to be shipped. Pickers/Packers are also responsible to maintain the machines they use and notify a manager if repairs are needed.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment for long hours.
• Ensuring that all the material is safely and securely packed and labelled for shipping.
• Packing products for return to vendors and filling out any paperwork necessary.
• Quality Control – Assuring that all products in inventory are in good condition and removing any material that may have been damaged.

• Good strength and physical fitness
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Must be good at math
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
Reporting
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.
