Join the Pegasus Team and make a real difference! Pegasus Moving and Cleaning is seeking hard-working and reliable individuals to join our growing labor team. Job duties include moving AND cleaning tasks throughout the Greater Portland Metro Area. In-town relocations: Typically moving jobs are 4-8 hours and take place within the greater Portland metro area. Haul-away jobs: Large-scale hauling and recycling jobs to clear out entire properties. Take items for disposal or to donation sites. Cleaning: Clean residential properties to help clients avoid eviction and/or have a safe, healthy living environment. Deep cleaning tasks generally involve: Mopping Sweeping Dusting Vacuuming Carpet cleaning Surface cleaning Appliance cleaning Trash removal Schedule: Monday thru Saturday; 20-40 hours/week. Approximately 4-8 hours per shift. *Shift start times vary, but typically between 8-9 AM. Requirements: Ability to perform the physical demands of the work. This includes prolonged standing, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Excellent attendance. Customer and client service focus. Collaboration skills as a team member. Strong communication skills and ability to follow written instructions. Basic technology skills including ability to use phone-based google apps including Calendar, Maps, Docs, and Drive. Ability to pass a criminal background check required. Current/valid driver's license and ability to pass driving record check. Ability to drive a MOVING TRUCK a plus! Requirements for driving include: A current driver’s license and ability to pass driving record check. Ability to pass an ODOT physical. Ability to read street signs and follow directions. Knowledge of the Portland Metro area to efficiently and safely navigate routes. Ability to safely drive truck through traffic and park at job sites. Pay range: $17 - $27/hour depending on skills and experience.
