Hello! I’m looking for a tutor for my two 14 year old children, and 17 year old daughter. I have 14 year old twins (son and daughter) who are in the 8th grade and need homework help, as well as some help in developing some foundational skills in math and writing. My 14 year old daughter does well in most classes, but could use some additional support in math and basic info (reading time on the clock, months, basic skills). My son, is currently very behind in most classes and would need someone to sit with him while he goes through and completes each assignment to get caught up. He can be easily distracted but does well with the assistance of another person supporting him, who he can ask questions to. They’ve had tutors in the past, who enjoyed their time with the kids but graduated and moved on (happy to provide contact info for them so you can learn more about each of the kids). My 17 year old is a foster child, she is a junior at CHS and struggles with organizational skills and workload. She struggles with math concepts, but overall is very intelligent just lacks the motivation and organization to get things done. Initially, I’m looking for someone to get my son squared away which will likely take 4-6 hours total. This can be done on a weekend or during the week after school. After that, I’d like to have someone after school during the week 2-3x week for 2-3hours a day (1-2 hours with each kiddo). Hoping this can be longer term so that we can pick up next year as the twins transition into high school and begin having a larger workload. I’d also be interested in some general skill building over the summer to help develop skills for each of them. We are looking to pay $20-25/hr. Please contact me if this is of interest to you!
