Description
WATERTOWN, MA — A string of break-ins in Watertown and Belmont have brought police back to the search for the suspect in a September attempted break-in.
Police said the break-ins in Watertown and Belmont happened on Nov. 21 between 4 and 8 p.m. The two Watertown houses that were broken into were on Avon Road and Sunnybank Road. Police are asking residents to check their home security surveillance footage for anything suspicious.
The previous attempted break-in happened on Sept. 11 at a home on Adams Avenue. The person was caught on camera but ended up running from the home and left behind a backpack and a yellow crowbar, police said.
Watertown police said all the incidents had a similar pattern and believe they were done by the same person. Anyone with information should call Watertown or Belmont police.
