At Sunshine Landscape Services Inc., we are looking for motivated, dependable lawn spray technicians. As a lawn spray technician you will use our established system to keep residential and commercial lawns healthy and weed free. You will be driving a truck and trailer, and using Z-sprays, mowers, blowers, spreaders, backpack sprayers, etc. to maintain lawns and provide excellent service to all the customers in your route. We will also cross-train you in our landscape and mowing services. We may be able to accommodate someone that wishes to work part-time. Responsibilities include: - fertilizer and pesticide applications to commercial and residential lawns - aerating and over-seeding - driving a truck and trailer to haul equipment - communicating with, educating, and maintaining excellent relationships with customers in your route - be able to work with, communicate and foster a team environment with all team members - maintaining the equipment used - training new team members Qualifications and Skills: - ability to identify different types of grasses a plus - ability to follow all safety procedures while mixing and spraying chemicals and fertilizers - ability to efficiently operate a tractor with a front end loader a plus - experience driving with and backing a trailer - valid NC drivers license (required) - clean driving record (required) - background check - willingness to work in all weather conditions - ability to work effectively with minimal supervision - willingness to train new employees - ability to do labor intensive work - willingness to participate in continuing education
