Role Overview:
We are currently looking for a part-time Transportation Coordinator to assist a busy transportation department in Las Vegas, Nevada for a commercial fleet that runs between the lower 48 states. The company is in the process of growing rapidly. The Transportation Coordinator must be technologically savvy, have organizational skills, and have the ability to quickly adapt to various systems while we continue to evolve our processes.

This Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for phone answering and call routing, moving trucks around the Las Vegas region or travel to any state to recover vehicles when needed, coordinating and scheduling both CDL and non-CDL drivers efficiently and in a quick manor.
The Transportation Coordinator must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of specific variables in operating situations. You will be working in a high-activity environment where issues and new situations must be addressed and solved in real-time.
The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling drivers, communicating with customer regarding deliveries and special handling issues. The Transportation Coordinator/Administrator will be responsible for analyzing routes, reviewing driver logs and maintaining records.
Additional desired skills include:
Analyze trends, new business contract research, dispatch-brokerage, Class A, B license or commercial driving endorsements.
