Description
Hi, it's a hard decision for our family, but we have decided that it time to consider rehoming our VERY bonded bunnies. They are the best of friends so need to stay together. They are INDOOR, SPOILED bunnies thst do like to get some temporary time outside occasionally on nice days. They are both spayed females. Bentley is 5 and Luna is 4. They are both very gentle bunnies that love to be pet and even picked up. When Bentley, our 5 year old Holland Lop, was a young bunny she had an accident, resulting from our friend's child, that required her to have surgery for an abscess that formed from a bad cut on her head. We believe from that injury she went deaf as sound doesn't spook her. She sheds and struggles with night poop getting stuck to her long fur. When that happens, I use warm water and give her a little bath where I gently hold her in about belly deep water and she actually seems to like it. Then I wrap her in a couple towels and snuggle her to sleep as if holding a newborn baby. She is a lover and is good with being snuggled for a long time and picked up. Luna is 4 and a is a Netherland Dwarf. She is a bit more active and feisty, but not in a bad way. She is fine being picked up and held but not super into being cuddled long as she's squirmy. Both were really good with litter box training until we gave them the freedom all day to come and go from their hutches in our den. Luna has more accidents than Bentley on our area rug. They each have identical two story hutches that they hop to at night when it's bedtime. Once in a while they like to have sleepovers in each other's hutches, but most times they go to their own. In their hutches they are very good about using the litter boxes. When it's nice outside they love to hop around in the grass in the enclosed pen with a cover for them to get to eat grass and enjoy the fresh air. Bentley and Luna are about as spoiled as bunnies could possibly be, but our kids are in college and upper high school so aren't around to help with them. Also, the bunnies trigger their allergies and asthma so they have really become mine and my husband's bunnies. We also have three dogs, two of which that are great with the so they always have to be separated. Sorry for the long description, but to consider rehoming them we want to be sure they would go to a home that would be able to love them so much. With rehoming we would include all of their food, hay, supplies, 2 natural colored two story hutches, and even the nice collapsible cedar/wire outdoor pen with cover. We are asking $100 for everything as long as in return you promise they are going to a good home environment.
