Hi! I’m looking a rat to be friends with my male rat Ben. He’s about a year old. His two friends just passed away from old age (4 years old) and his brother passed very young due to cancer (lymphoma diagnosed at 6 months old via abdominal ultrasound-we tried to safe him but it wasn’t to be) He needs a new buddy or buddies. What I’m looking for: A older male rat (neutered or intact) that he can be friends with. Around his age An older spayed female rat, around his age Two younger siblings who will have each other when Ben passes away. I have a large set up. Have had rats for years. Work in veterinary medicine and make sure my rats receive medical care if ever needed. I’ve been known to drop 300-700 to save a rat if needed. Attached are photos of Ben, my set up and other rats I’ve had. I’ve had multiple rats live to 5-6 years old. Ben is the first pic. Not looking for any fancy breed-dwarf, Rex, etc whose rehoming fee is crazy for a rat. Just looking for a regular rat that needs a home. I’m currently in contact with rescues as well but Ben is super depressed without friends. Will pay a rehoming fee! Just nothing crazy. I offer a good, safe, loving home for a rat. But I’m also not going to pay 60.00 for an older rat from an unknown person who may or may not live as long as my rats have due to unknown genetics. If you have a rat who needs a forever home, please let me know. I live in Lynnwood wa and am willing to drive 30-45 minutes in any direction.
