Seniors Helping Seniors® matches retired, active seniors with seniors who need help in order to continue living independently. We’re looking to add to our team of caregivers and are seeking mature and compassionate individuals to assist seniors in Bethesda, Rockville, Silver Spring, and the surrounding areas. Our team believes that seniors can help each other age with dignity, grace, and respect. One of the most important aspects of our services is providing companionship to those we serve. To do so, we pair caregivers with care receivers who share similar interests and backgrounds. This ensures a mutually beneficial relationship that facilitates a deep and meaningful connection. Seniors Helping Seniors® caregivers also help with daily tasks like light house cleaning, yardwork, medication reminders, and transportation to and from appointments or social events. We offer flexible hours – you choose your schedule. Whether you want to work 4 hours a week or 40 hours, we are here to support your retired life by giving you an opportunity to help other seniors while earning income and maintaining your lifestyle and hobbies. No certifications are required. We will teach you everything you need to know. Pay rate - $16/hr We provide the below types of services and are looking to hire people comfortable with: • Homemaker / companion that provides ‘hands-off’ support with services like companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, light housekeeping, organizing projects, etc. Qualifications • We are looking for mature individuals who consistently demonstrate patience, empathy, reliability, professionalism, and are personable • Have reliable transportation • Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during working hours • Can relate to the aging process, helping those we serve navigate the challenges that growing older can bring Want to change the life of a senior?
