Specialized Moving Services (SMS) is a statewide provider of third party specialty moving and relocation services since 1988. We are not movers. SMS provides services for corporate transferees such as crating, pool table work, appliance servicing and a wide array of other services. Our local operation teams provide solutions on demand for movers and relocating customers throughout the state of Colorado. Using company vehicles, SMS Service Technicians are dispatched to daily assignments serving private residences and businesses. This job requires proficient and safe use of a wide variety of hand and power tools. Basic knowledge of carpentry, electricity and plumbing is a big plus. Staring hourly rate is based on experience. If you have experience with any of the above trades the starting pay will be $20.00. Our lead technicians are paid 22.00-28.00 per hour. This job has some physically demanding activities and if you are out of shape, it is not for you. We have plenty of work and after 40 hours per week you will receive time and a half.
