We rescued Walter about 2 ago from the Weld County Humane society. He is approximately 4-5 years old. He was having behavioral issues and was having a hard time getting adopted. We brought him home into our balanced pack and have worked to rehabilitate him and bring out his sweet personality. He is incredibly intelligent and all around a good boy. He likes to snuggle in blankets, play, and loves treats/toys. He is talkative, very vocal and expressive. He does bark and whine a lot to communicate, so he needs someone who is ok with that. He is afraid of rain/wind/storms/fireworks/loud noises and sometimes driving in the car. He would do best with someone who is very patient and can give him a lot of attention. Our family is not very active so I think he would do better with someone who can walk him, hike with him, and take him on adventures- someone who can help him build more confidence. We knew we would find new owners for him when he was ready, so we are now looking for his forever family. Must be willing to provide him leadership, discipline, and structure to continue bringing out the best in him. Let me know if you are interested or want more pictures!
