Punk rock band looking for record nerd bass player. We like a bunch of stuff but kinda sound like some kind of mashup of Land Speed Record-era Husker Du, Marked Men, New Bomb Turks, Jay Reatard & Buzzcocks. Sorta garagey, high energy, fast & loud. We have a new EP on tape and streaming that you can check out here: theblackgloves.bandcamp.com We’re looking to resume playing shows and record the next batch of stuff and hopefully put out some vinyl and tour a bit. We generally try to practice once a week or so while working on parts separately. Ideally, we’d like to get a player who has experience, can walk the neck and compliment the guitar and drums with some counter melodies. Some back up vocals, more like shouts, is needed too.
