Mature seasoned player seeking other mature seasoned players to cover classic Americana, roots music, Delta blues style, etc.... for fun. Doc Watson, Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, Red dirt country. I'm not looking to parrot any artists verbatim and be note for note, there is no fun in that. I prefer being in a loose band that takes ownership of a cover and plays it our way, put our flavor on it, while paying homage to the original. Like Hayseed Dixie. GOOD NATURED mature players only. I have a heart condition so I will not do drama, tell it to the bees. I'm super laid back, I don't mind responsible drinking or partying. Just no drama. Not looking to be a band leader or be the boss I'm fine just shutting up, being off to the side playing my ass off or playing what fits *Disclaimer- dobro is a Brand of Resonator Guitar, like supro, Gibson, fender. People mistakenly call any resonator guitar they see a dobro, if it doesn't say dobro on the headstock, then it's not a dobro brand, it's just a resonator guitar - I play on an acoustic electric Washburn resonator guitar. I also have 2 lap steel guitars for playing electric one is a 6-string and the other is an 8 string. I can also double on slide guitar. Open tunings are my thing.
