OBRC is the industry steward of Oregon’s nationally recognized beverage container deposit program. We help keep Oregon beautiful by providing outstanding services to our partner distributors and retailers, and to the public for the recovery, reuse, and recycling of beverage containers.
Summary
The Box Truck Driver operates a >26,000 gvw 26’ truck on a specific route to service OBRC accounts and BottleDrop locations by handling the pick-up and transportation of beverage containers.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned Box Truck
Safely and courteously operates a vehicle and all equipment, including pallet jacks, lift gates, load locks and more
Prepare accurate documents, counts, and product preparation, building pallets and product grouping
Load trucks, insuring all items are counted and loaded and that load is properly secured
Learn and understand product information, company operations and communicate this to retailers and customers
Options available for on the job training for Class A CDL.

Education/Experience
High School diploma or GED
Requirements – Skills, Job Knowledge & Abilities
Valid class C driver license and valid driving record
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. frequently throughout the day
Ability to communicate professionally at all levels with internal and external business partners
Ability to qualify for and obtain a CDL within 12 months of hire
Professional demeanor in both attitude and appearance

None
Travel
Travel to assigned route daily
SCHEDULE & COMP
Friday-Monday, 4-10 hour shifts. (Scheduled days off are Tues, Wed. Thurs.)
$18 per hour to start, weekend days are $19 per hour
Up to $325.00 per quarter bonus!
