OBRC is the industry steward of Oregon’s nationally recognized beverage container deposit program. We help keep Oregon beautiful by providing outstanding services to our partner distributors and retailers, and to the public for the recovery, reuse, and recycling of beverage containers.
Summary
The CDL driver is responsible for operating a tractor-trailer on a specific route to service accounts in handling the transport for our product and service.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Perform DOT required pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily
Safely and courteously operate a CMV and all equipment, including pallet jacks, lift gates, and handheld devices
Prepare accurate documents, counts, and product preparation. This includes marking bags, building pallets and product grouping
Load trucks, insuring all items are counted, loaded, and properly secured
Learn and understand product information, company operations, and sorting procedures, and communicate this to retailers and customers
Completion of weekly tasks in allotted amount of time.
Education/Experience
High School diploma or GED
Requirements – Skills, Job Knowledge & Abilities
A valid CDL class A driver's license and acceptable driving history is required
Ability to pass DOT drug screen prior to employment
General knowledge of air brakes, fifth wheels, and combination vehicles
Knowledge and understanding of OBRC operations and service areas is preferred
Ability to communicate professionally at all levels with internal and external business partners
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout the day
Professional demeanor in both attitude and appearance

Daily local travel
SCHEDULE & COMP
Friday-Monday, 4-10 hour shifts. (Scheduled days off are Tues, Wed. Thurs.)
$25 per hour to start, weekend days are $26 per hour
Up to $325.00 per quarter bonus!
