We need exceptional, highly motivated individuals to join our legacy. We are currently seeking a Class A CDL Driver to join our growing team! The Class A CDL Driver is primarily responsible for driving and delivering PFW products to customers. Here is an overview of what you could expect to find yourself doing on a daily basis: Drives in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations. Maintains vehicles and equipment and properly completes reports including pre and post-trip checklists, driver logs, timecards, etc. Loads and unloads flatbed trailers. Properly reviews and secures load prior to departure. Communicates in advance with customers regarding arrival time and unloading equipment needed. Completes short hauls, occasional overnights and day runs throughout the NW area (Salem, Vancouver, Hood River, Oregon Coast, etc. Schedule will vary depending on the needs of customers. Flatbed loads and multiple deliveries per run. Drops unique loads at customers and ensures load is correct before departing per order paperwork. Ability and experience to safely operate a forklift. Fills order for residential and commercial customers. Puts fittings away and checks in fittings. Warehouse/Yard maintenance and clean up. Loads and unloads trucks for customers at the gate using a sit-down forklift. Other duties as assigned. Wondering if you’re qualified? Here’s what we are looking for: One-year related experience driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle with a Class A license. Must have a clear driving record and be able to pass all required DOT pre-employment testing including current DOT medical card. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation. Must have a forklift certification. Be able to regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. You must be able to properly demonstrate your ability to be reliable, possess a strong work ethic with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, behave in a highly professional manner and have initiative while working independently with minimal supervision to produce accurate and timely work. This position is full-time and will work 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 2-day trips maximum. The hourly pay rate starts at $25.00 depending on experience.
