Make Ready Technician (Kingsville) Employment type: temporary full-time College based property looking for make ready technician for summer turn. Job duties include but are not limited to the following: -Assists with general appliance repairs, carpet repairs and electrical repairs -Performs and/or assists with carpentry work, painting and plumbing duties as required -Installs appliances and electrical fixtures as required -Moves appliances, with assistance, using appliance dolly -Installs, repairs and rekeys deadbolt locks -Assists maintenance in maintaining a clean and orderly shop -Reports any maintenance problems -Maintains courteous and helpful demeanor with residents, prospective residents, co-workers, vendors, etc. -Completes check lists in a timely manner to ensure units are ready for new residents move-in date Qualifications: -Must have at least 1 year of Make Ready experience -Must have strong communication skills to be able to understand and follow directions -Must have knowledge of general maintenance, painting, and make-ready procedures -Must be prompt, on time to work and have good, regular attendance Interested candidates apply in person at 1100 W.
