My Hot water pilot shuts off every couple of hours.

Recently did a bunch of construction that kicked up a lot of dust, so I'm not sure if that's the source? Really just need someone to take a look and if it's a simple fix, even better. possible things I've heard as to why the pilot light keeps shutting off is the gas pressure, Thermocouple, or the dust like mentioned. It's only like 8 years old? If you know HVAC, my 4 year old furnace started acting up immediately after the basement was under construction, and inside it's covered with drywall dust.
