Jury Research Project - Focus Groups

We are looking for individuals to participate in two jury decision-making projects (Focus Group) in WARREN COUNTY, KY. We are hosting two jury research focus groups in Bowling Greens, KY. 1st Session - focus group will be held VIRTUALLY by Zoom on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, and will begin at 5:30 P.M. You will be paid a $65.00 VISA gift card. The gift card will be emailed to you at the end of the focus group. We expect the focus group to last approximately 2.5 hours. To participate in the 1st session you must be able to attend by ZOOM and show a KY I.D., showing you live in Warren County, KY. 2nd Session - focus group will take place IN PERSON in Bowling Greens, KY on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, and will begin at 6 P.M. The location of the focus group will be provided to those who are selected to participate in this focus group. For this focus group, you will be paid $65 in cash at the end of the focus group. To participate in the 2nd session you must be able to attend in person and show a KY I.D., showing you live in Warren County, KY. Participants will listen to and evaluate brief presentations of a real lawsuit that has been filed in Warren County. Our intention is for you to decide the outcome of the case. Everyone who has participated in these projects reports them to be extremely interesting, enjoyable, and worthwhile. You do not need any qualifications or expertise to participate, only the ability to listen to both sides of a dispute and discuss your opinions on the case being discussed. To participate, you must be a resident of WARREN COUNTY, KY. You must be able to speak, hear, read, and write English without assistance. Candidates cannot be currently on-call or selected for jury duty in Warren County, Kentucky.
