PURPOSE OF POSITION The Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance operations of all properties included in our service area including supervision of all maintenance staff. This position will be responsible for providing leadership and efficiency to the Property Management team regarding maintenance operations. The Facilities Manager ensures continuous, quality, and safe maintenance is performed while following all regulatory compliance and safety requirements. They will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to our residents and working closely with Senior Staff to develop organization tools and strategies for enhancing maintenance operations. Responsibilities include oversight of all building repairs including but not limited to heating and cooling systems, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, construction, roofing, masonry, patching and painting, and household appliances. Additionally, the Facilities Manager also oversees maintenance work at all properties and assists with providing input for new properties; oversight includes monitoring workload and schedules, overseeing capital improvements, preventative maintenance, and providing technical assistance for these properties.
