Growing BBQ Cleaning and Repair company is looking for BBQ Cleaning and repair technicians to clean, repair, and install high end grills in Orange County. THIS IS A DIRTY JOB! POSITION SUMMARY BBQ Cleaning and Repair Technician performs tasks involving physical labor at customer’s homes and HOA associations. May operate a variety of hand and power tools, prepare job sites, unload and load tools and equipment, clean up job sites, and remove waste materials. May also assist other team members in their duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Performing a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor outside in the sun; performing manual work in cleaning BBQ grills and grill parts • Using an angler grinder to clean BBQ grill parts • Maintaining a clean job site: picking up all tools and equipment and secure them in order to eliminate potential hazards • Handling and storing materials and parts • Loading and unloading truck and hauling and hoisting equipment and parts • Ensuring that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed; bringing problems to the attention of the Supervisor MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment; holding a clean driving record • Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work (Will Train. However previous experience working as an auto mechanic, appliance repair, plumbing, heating, A/C, electrical, construction, auto detailing, etc. is a plus) • Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions • Some knowledge of proper use of hand and power tools used in small construction type, and auto detailing job sites • Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule • Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods of time, and perform physical labor under adverse field conditions • Ability to communicate orally and in writing • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely • Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency Interested applicants must e-mail their resume with "I LOVE GRILLS' in the subject line.
