Viewpoint is currently seeking a Support Services Runner. The Support Services Runner assists with the setup and tear down of all types of campus events. Primary Responsibilities - Assist with the setup and tear down of all types of campus events, during the day, after-hours, and on weekends. Move, load and unload furniture and equipment, set up tables and chairs, transport food, beverages, and supplies to the event site. Restore and reconfigure event site once event ends. - Support the School’s performing arts programs by assisting with set assembly and working as a stage hand during events. - Maintain and manage stockrooms and storage areas in which event and break area supplies are kept. Ensures supplies are on hand ahead of when they are needed. Know where everything is, monitor inventory levels, place replenishment orders as needed as well as new orders for unique event-specific items, and shop for items that cannot be delivered. - Fulfill requests for breakroom supplies in a timely manner. Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - High School diploma is required. - Employee must be available to work a flexible schedule with the ability to occasionally work early mornings, nights, and weekends. - Employee must possess a valid drivers’ license, maintain a clean driving record, and be coverable by School’s insurance. - Experience in a customer service setting preferred, with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with parents, faculty, staff, and administration - Employee must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time, must be able to climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain and hillside pathways, must be able to carry, transport, and lift up to 50 pounds, and must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. - Position requires dependability, reliability, punctuality, flexibility, adaptability, problem solving, decision making, and good judgment. Must meet the pre-employment requirements such as pass a criminal background check and provide a valid Tuberculosis (TB) test or TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire. Equal Opportunity Employer
