Beaudin Construction is a Portland OR based commercial and multifamily general contractor since 2001. We primarily build new apartment complexes and commercial buildings in Oregon and Washington. The Beaudin team is looking to add a key member to our growing family. This position allows for long term growth with an up and coming collaborative company. In 2021, Beaudin Construction was voted as one of the top ten best Multifamily Contractors in Portland: “The company is a one-stop-shop for property improvements, with a range of services that includes general contracting, design-build, consulting, premium residential, sustainology, and restoration.” - Portland Architects, 2021. The basic function of the Superintendent is to coordinate and manage to profitable completion as many construction projects as possible while maintaining the company’s commitment to quality work and customer satisfaction. This job pays $80,000 - $90,000 DOE. We are hiring one superintendent in the Portland area and one in the Salem area. Responsibilities Adhere to the codes of the company’s Employee Manual Ensure customer relations are maintained at the highest level possible Develop written Standard Operating Procedures for all S/APM functions and completing these procedures into an S/APM binder or file for future reference Schedule and complete any special projects assigned by management Learn how and what business functions and tasks to delegate and when to delegate them Maintain, update and prioritize schedule as needed Address employees in a professional, courteous and civil manner. Duties Maintain and update daily logs Create and maintain a Master Project Schedule Generate and submit RFI’s Review bids for special material requests, long lead items and special procurement items Solicit and receive subcontractor quotes Evaluate and qualify subcontractor quotes and chose subcontractors Initiate Owner Change Notices Daily photos of job site Supervise job site employees File and post documents on company database Address GC questions Coordinate building and special inspections Review and ensure code compliance Create paper trail for change order requests Coordinate and monitor job billings and owner payments Conduct final close out meeting.
