Re-homing Great Dane & Boxer Mix

Description

Hello, I'm reaching out to see if this page is able to help with the re-homing of my two dogs. Our hope is to find them loving homes before having to surrender them to the shelter. Unfortunately, my family and I have to rehome our two dogs due to a medical condition that is making us move out of state to stay with family and we cannot bring them along with us. We tried hard to bring both of them but it just will not play out that way. I’ve posted them on several FB rehoming groups for months as well as reached out to Great Dane Rescues for my Dane but no luck. We leave in mid-June and I’m starting to get desperate in finding a home for them. Our first dog is Jax. He is a full bred Great Dane. He is 5 years of age. We’ve had him since he was a puppy which makes this extremely difficult but we have all his original birth paperwork as well as his vet paperwork. He is up to date on all his shots. He is not neutered but in the process of getting him a neutering appointment. He does not like cats and would have to be placed in an older children household. He’s never bitten anyone or attacked but makes a great protector. Like a majority of Great Danes, he is a nervous dog. He loves to cuddle and doesn’t realize how large he really is. He thinks he is a lap dog. He is a bit distrusting in the beginning. He will need a place with plenty of room to roam as he is a very large dog and needs yard space. We love him so much and want him to go to the best home possible. Our second dog is Duke. He is around 6 years of age and when we rescued Duke from the shelter they said he was a boxer mix. Duke is a sweetheart. He was found in the streets of Yakima and when we rescued him, it was clear to us he suffered abuse from previous owners. He is distrustful at first but will love unconditionally once he’s comfortable. He loves swimming, to play fetch and go on walks. He’s a great family dog and is super patient with children. We have a two year old and Duke is the best with him. He is good with dogs as well but not with cats. He is neutered and UTD on vaccines. Ideally, we'd like for them to go together as they're bonded but understand if it's not possible. Small rehoming fee will apply. Please contact me for more info if interested. Thank you so much in advance for reading and God bless.
