Super 8 Motel 5175 Churn Creek Rd is now seeking Housekeepers to join our team. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests. Housekeepers work the day shift, beginning at 9 am each day. Hours worked each day vary depending on hotel occupancy. (Sometimes short/sometimes long) * Remove all trash and soiled linens from guestrooms and hallways. * Thoroughly clean and disinfect guestrooms according to standards. * Keep hallways, public areas and supply rooms clean and neat. * Transports trash to the disposal area. * Replenish cleaning chemical bottles as needed and at end of day. * Restock housekeeping cart with towels and linens at the end of each day. * Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to standards. * Reports any maintenance repairs needed immediately to Supervisor. * Maintain regular attendance. * Maintain a clean and neat personal appearance and grooming which includes wearing proper uniform and name tag. * Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and co-workers. * Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form. * Be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, grasp, stoop, kneel, crouch and move at a fast pace during the entire shift. * Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
