Seeking occasional home helper for elderly woman. This position is in Spring, TX 77388, FM 2920 and Kuykendahl. Looking for someone on call and one to three hours four times a week. Typically every other day for one to two hours in the afternoon and sometimes more than once a day. Pay is on every Friday, cash and pay is negotiable. We are looking for someone that will be dependable. The home is spacious and clean. Service is conducted from a hospital style bed. A family member is available to help move client into bed etc. This is a potential long term position part time. Duties and requirements include: Change soiled linen and adult undergarment. Must have a flexible schedule during the day or be able to be available within the day time. Must have experience in using Fleet. Must have experience changing catheter. Must be able to give sponge bath and hair wash when needed. Must live within 15 minutes travel time and have dependable transportation. Background check will be conducted and you must have valid state issued ID. NON-SMOKERS ONLY. A formal meeting will also be required at a local coffee or food establishment. There is no jewelry, cash or anything valuable in the home. A family member is always available. Training on particulars will be given by current family helper and certified nurse over several visits.
