Description
Are you interested in becoming more physically active? Health researchers at Rowan University’s Department of Psychology are seeking participants to provide feedback on a new physical activity support tool for women. All activities are conducted remotely - this study does not require visits to campus and does not require you to be located near Glassboro.
You may be eligible to participate if you’re a woman who is 40-60 years old and have at least one of the following health behaviors or conditions:
- Smoker (or quit in the past 3 months)
- Hypertension/prehypertension
- Type 2 diabetes/prediabetes
- High cholesterol
- Metabolic syndrome
Participation in the study is voluntary and requires:
- Attending a Zoom meeting at the start and end of participation
- Using the website each morning for 7 days
- Completing a brief survey at the end of each day for 7 days
- Wearing a physical activity monitor each day for 7 days
Participants can earn up to $50 for their time.
This study is approved by the Rowan University Institutional Review Board (PRO-2021-422).
