We are looking for 1-2 people to come on as summer kennel help during the off-season. Potential to continue on into the winter season if it's a good fit. During the summer months, this is absolutely a part time gig. Once we settle in, on a normal day, we will be there from about 800a - Noon. So you would have your entire afternoon to have a different job b/c you won't be able to survive off this alone, unless you're just looking for something part time, but you'd be in the neighborhood of 20-24 hrs week during normal times. Days of the week are flexible too if you already have something in place. This is somewhat labor intensive at times, as you will need to be able to carry 5-gallon buckets of food and 6 gallon water jugs. We are about 4 miles outside of town (Leadville) on 24, so you do need some sort of transportation. Biggest thing you need is a desire to learn, be punctual and reliable, and be attentive to the dogs.
