I have a 1 year old male red heeler. He is nippy with people he don't know. He is very family protective though. He needs lots of room to run cause he is full of energy. He also needs to be an indoor pet because he doesn't like to be alone. He is ok with female dogs. But he would be better off being an only dog. I was told when I got him he was full blooded heeler.
