The 3rd Annual Chalk the Block Festival 5k Race in Uptown Somerset DATE: Sunday, July 24th, 2022 TIME: 9 AM LOCATION: Start & Finish at the Union St. Playground (347 W. Union St., Somerset, PA 15501) The course is the same route as the last few years! There will be a separate start for walkers immediately following the start of the run. Registrations received by July 8th are guaranteed a Dri-Fit event tee with exclusive 5k color and design in your size. Day of Registrations are available, shirt not guaranteed. Awards: Awards for Top 3 Overall Finishers Male & Female in Run & Walk. Top Finisher Medal for each age group Run & Walk, plus bonus prizes Age Groups: 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ The proceeds benefit Somerset ,Inc. A non-profit community revitalization organization with numerous holistic endeavors including building renovations, Uptown art, promotions of local businesses, & events throughout the year like Uptown Chalk the Block.
