Music of Ukrainian composers performed by an international team of artists. All proceeds support delivery of medical aid into the war zone. Discover the music of Ukraine! It is a country of rich cultural heritage, and its music deserves to be heard by audiences worldwide. From the traditional melodies to the rarely performed baroque masterpieces and the works of contemporary composers, Musicians United offers a program that is both engaging and moving. You will hear the sounds of the bandura (an iconic Ukrainian psaltery), art songs by romantic and contemporary composers, as well as chamber music for piano, cello, violin, and trumpet. Works by Dmitry Bortnyansky, Mykola Lysenko, Platon Maiboroda, Myroslav Skoryk, and Borys Lyatoshynsky. Songs to the poetry of Taras Shevchenko and Ivan Franko, among others.
