Pervasive Parenting Center Advisory Board Meeting The Pervasive Parenting Center was recently awarded the Community Parent Resource Center (CPRC) grant through the US Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP). We are forming an advisory board committee made up of parents, professionals, educators, and self-advocates, as well as board members and staff, to help guide the organization’s efforts. This will include plans for grant-related services as well as outlying projects. These stakeholders will meet at least once per year to steer the efforts of the board and assure there is a voice for all groups involved in the services and programs. Meetings will be held in-person if appropriate, or virtually if necessary. The group’s recommendations will then be presented to the board of directors. Pending a final approval from the board, ideas will be implemented in a timely manner. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the Kiamichi Technology Center in Poteau, Ok.
