BRANDON, FL — Memorial Day weekend traffic on Selmon Expressway could experience a smoother flow with the temporary opening of eastbound Selmon Expressway reversible express lanes on Friday, May 22 at 1 p.m., said Tampa Hillsborough County Expressway Authority in a news release. The Reversible Express Lanes will remain eastbound until Tuesday, May 26 at 6 a.m. and then will resume normal operation hours in the westbound direction from Brandon to the downtown area. There is a possibility that the hours of the Reversible Express Lanes could change without notice if maintenance or construction work is needed.
