Outdoors, hands-on workshop for educators. Learn about Aquatic Wild, how to use it in your classes, receive materials, and become certified. Join us for a walk on the wild side at the Swan Island WMA and learn about Aquatic Wild.Aquatic Wild is part of the Project Wild series, but it focuses on issues around wetlands , aquatic wildlife, and habitats. Just like Project Wild, Aquatic Wild is an activity based, experiential learning, curriculum guide. It provides wildlife-based environmental education activities that are hands-on, easy to use, and fun. This award-winning curriculum teaches the fundamentals of wildlife ecology, conservation, and ecological issues. While also developing natural science knowledge and critical thinking skills across several different discipline areas. The activities complement existing curricula, Maine state standards, and national academic standards.
