BRANDON, FL —The Florida Department of Transportation is closing both directions of State Road 60 under Intersate-75 overpass on June 8 at 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. on June 9.
The detour routes provided by the Florida Department of Transportation include:
SR 60 Eastbound: Motorists will be directed south onto I-75 frontage ramp to US 301. At fork, motorists will use left lane onto southbound US 301. After crossing under I-75, turn left onto ramp to enter northbound I-75, and follow signs to eastbound SR 60.
Interstate-75 Southbound to SR 60 Eastbound Exit: At bottom of exit ramp, head west on SR 60, south on US 301. After crossing under I-75, turn left onto ramp to enter northbound I-75, and follow signs to eastbound SR 60. Alternate route: Continue south on I-75 and use Exit 254 to southbound US 301. Cross under I-75, turn left onto ramp to enter northbound I-75, and follow the signs to eastbound SR 60.
Westbound SR 60 Detour (and access to southbound I-75): Motorists will be directed north onto I-75 to Exit 260B (westbound Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.Boulevard/SR 574). After taking "loop" ramp onto westbound MLK and crossing over I-75, turn left onto ramp to enter southbound I-75. Use Exit 257 to SR 60and follow signs to westbound SR 60 or continue south on I-75.
Detour for Northbound I-75 to Westbound SR 60 (Exit 257): Motorists will continue north on I-75 to Exit 260B (westbound Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.Boulevard/SR 574). After taking "loop" ramp onto westbound MLK and crossing over I-75, turn left onto ramp to enter southbound I-75. Use Exit 257 to SR 60 and follow signs to westbound SR 60.
