BRANDON, FL — The ramp to State Road 60 from Interstate-75 southbound will be closed for overhead sign installation starting at 11 p.m., on Monday, and reopen on Tuesday, at 5 a.m., a Florida Department of Transportation news release said. The detour set up for drivers, according to the FDOT, is as follows: Drivers will continue to travel south on I-75 and use exit 260. At the traffic signal, drive west onto State Road 574/Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, and then travel south on Falkenburg Road to State Road 60. Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will guide divers along this route. The FDOT said drivers may anticipate heavy traffic on nearby roads because of this closure.
