Sign up to help with zero waste needs at Town Fair! The Erie Town Fair draws visitors and residents alike to appreciate over150 Craft, Artists, Food and Vendor Booths. All Activities take place in Historic Old Town Erie. This is a large event and we need help reducing waste! Volunteers are needed to setup, staff waste stations, sort and haul waste, and tear down after the event. Due to the size and length of this event, we are splitting the day into shifts and need: 14 volunteers from 9:00 – 11:30 am to set up and run Zero Waste Stations 14 volunteers from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm to run Zero Waste Stations 14 volunteers from 2:00 – 4:30 pm to run Zero Waste Stations and Tear Down 3 volunteers from 4:30 – 7:00 pm to Run Zero Waste Stations and Tear down in Beer Garden We are also looking for 2 people for each shift that can run bags and put them in the appropriate dumpsters from each station.
