Every year we host a Charity 5K Race honoring the life of beloved customer Adam Clayton who lost his battle with brain cancer in 2021. Better Blend is a community-driven brand that cares about the planet, philanthropic efforts, and our customer's stories. One of which is Adam Clayton. Adam started coming to Better Blend in Florence in the very beginning with speical dietary restrictions. Becasue of his treatments, he needed a very clean, high fiber, high carb, and high protein meal. We came up with "Adam's Lean n Green" which contained spinach, oats, kiwi, banana, pecans, extra protein, bulk powder, and pineapple. Everything Adam needed in a mid-day meal. Throughout his visits, our staff and Adams family formed a very strong bond, which is why Adam's tragedy left such hole in our hearts. In 2021 Adam lost his fight to brain cancer and we lost a friend. To honor him, every year we host a charity 5K in his name and donate all the proceeds to charity. It's an amazing opportunity for us to get together, be active, and support a great cause AND a great man.
