2022 Caregiver Summit presented by Eastern Kansas VA Health Care System Caregiver Support Program
This Summit explores the importance of Caregiver inclusion in treatment and service provision. Caregiver Support Program Manager, Jennifer Molleker LSCSW, will facilitate a conversation with Caregiver, Rachel Moyer, to identify unique needs for Caregivers of Veterans. We'll talk about the C.A.R.E. service model, which integrates family caregivers into their Veteran’s healthcare teams from day one of the care journey.
Meet us for a community conversation for the 2022 Caregiver Support Summit at
Washburn University
Memorial Union-Kansas Room #215

Our intended audience for this Summit is any/all members of the community who serve or partner with Veteran caregivers. We value our caregivers and recognize that they have a great responsibility to take care of our Veterans, and serve as members of their community. Our goals are to provide training in inclusive care and how caregivers plan a vital role in Veteran's lives.
We aim to increase collaboration and communication among and between community organizations and the VA, and to share ideas and borrow effective practices from each other. We look forward to seeing you!
