Audience: Local Educational Agency (LEA) English Learner Coordinators I district or site-level administrators and leaders

In this workshop school and district leaders will study best practices for K-12 Designated and Integrated English Language Development (ELD) and determine how to best apply these practices locally. Additionally, participants will take a "beyond compliance" approach to English Learner Advisory Committees (ELAC), District English Learner Advisory Committees (DELAC), and other Title III federal requirements, learning how to not only meet federal guidelines but design effective and empowering English Language Development programs.
Session Format: Two days; day one will focus on Designated and Integrated ELD; day two will focus on ELAC, DELAC, and other Title III requirements.
Stipend: $100 per training day after completion. Stipends are subject to employer's costs.
