NASSAU COUNTY, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following arrests for driving while intoxicated this week. All charges are merely accusations. Michael G. Smith, Jr., 19, of Albertson, was arrested on Oct. 30 at 11:05 p.m. near exit 39 of the LIE in Jericho.Byron D. Avila, 27, of Brentwood, was arrested on Oct. 21 at 5:10 a.m. at exit 34 on the LIE in North Hills.Gloria M. Baca, 47, of Hicksville, was arrested on Old Country Road in Westbury at 1:05 a.m. on Nov. 2.
