Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and JP Richardson, "The Big Bopper," died in a plane crash near Clear Lake, Iowa on Tuesday, February 3, 1959. But did you know that on that same tour, The Winter Dance Party, they played in Kenosha at the Eagles Club Ballroom (Now Marina Shores) with Dion & The Belmonts on Friday, January 24, 1959, the tour's second stop? A Memorial is far overdue and you can be part of bringing it to Kenosha! A $5 minimum donation to attend will be 100% donated to Kenosha's Lemon Street Gallery.
