Join Certified Sommelier Joshua Voytek on an exploration of the wines of Chile. This South American country is located along a narrow strip between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes mountains. This geographic location and topography provide a unique impact on Chile's vineyards and wines. While Carmenere has emerged as Chile's signature grape and accounts for a significant majority of the Carmenere plantings in the world, Chile has also shown some great promise in numerous other more commonly known varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, as well as promising plantings of Carignane in the south. In addition to being unique in their expression, Chilean wines often represent a great value and also can be enjoyed with a diverse range of foods or simply on their own. Come to learn more about the wines from this exciting emerging region! There will be one class time available starting out. Class space is limited. Tickets are $30 per person, which includes a 60 minute wine class and samples.You must purchase a ticket for each wine class you would like to attend. *You MUST be 21-years-old or older, and have a valid ID to attend this class. If you purchase a ticket, and are not 21 or older, or have a valid ID you will not be able to participate is the class, and you will NOT receive a refund. Save paper!
