Description

I went out on our shore a recent October day to find myself all alone. It was a dank day, overcast, cold, no strollers, no surfers, very rough surf, only a few gulls. Camera in hand, I set up my chair anyway. It was better than being inside. It's always better. Then, as if he appeared straight out of the sea, I spotted the lone young man with his passion—right in front of me. The significance of his passion was evident in that he was alone in the sea, no other person in sight, on land or sea. He stood on his paddle board, an exclamation point in the surf, a punctuation of his passion. And I was there, front row center, to enjoy and record it. Often I find myself in a place where it seems I was meant to be. But actually, it was just where I chose to be, and isn't that where we all are? Where we choose to be? Sometimes some of us are so moved by where we are that it makes a great impact on us, an impact that others don't feel. I was so moved by the moment before me, I not only shot many photos, but worked on a post about it for a long time. It's a bit different from my past posts. But maybe, not too much. But it is what I felt:https://leebythesea.me/2020/11/07/neptune-rising/ Be well, Leebythesea
